A message from the Ragin' Cajuns captain, Alison Jones:
This is the 20th year for Prisma Dragon Boat! That is something to celebrate.
Join me in supporting cancer patients in our community by donating to my Prisma Health Dragon Boat Upstate Festival team. Your donation helps provide much-needed support for local cancer prevention and early detection, advanced cancer research and patient programs, as well as life-changing patient and survivor programs.
Our families and friends should not have to endure this awful disease! However, this yearly event provides us a way to make things brighter and better for those in our community fighting this scourge.
I am not alone in having lost dear friends and family to cancer. In fact, I lost my dearest and best friend a week after Dragon Boat last year. I've had to dig deep for the motivation to move forward this year. Then I remembered, Dragon Boat Upstate Festival provides an opportunity for us to honor and remember our loved ones that have faced or continue to face the disease.
