I'm paddling fiercely to fight cancer on May 2 in the Upstate Dragon Boat Race! I am honored to race with others from the Prisma Cancer Institute, an amazing group of talented and caring people in the Center for Integrative Oncology and Survivorship (CIOS) and the Center for Cancer Prevention and Wellness (CCPW). They currently see over 10,000 survivors annually in these Centers.
Join me in supporting cancer patients in our community by donating to my Prisma Health Dragon Boat Upstate Festival team. Your donation helps provide much-needed support for local cancer prevention and early detection, advanced cancer research and patient programs, as well as life-changing patient and survivor programs.
Most of us have unfortunately been touched by cancer in some way and the Dragon Boat Upstate Festival provides an opportunity for us to honor and remember loved ones that have faced or continue to face the disease. I lost my Mom to cancer along with other family members and dear friends.
